On 17 Septemberan announcement was made via Five's official Myspace page that a press conference was to be held at The Scala in central London on 27 September. It was confirmed at the press conference that four of the five members would be reuniting Conlon now being committed to his Sony deal. On 19 Mayhaving failed to secure a lucrative enough record deal, the group announced via their website that they would no longer be pursuing a comeback. InConlon reunited with his former bandmates to discuss the possibility of a second reunion. They've made it very clear they didn't want to be in the band. It still works, the songs are still the same.
In lateFive announced they would be embarking on another Australian Greatest Hits tour in supported by Australian pop duo Sister2Sister. They also stated to watch their social media accounts for bigger news on 11 June On 11 June, the remix was released with the announcement of a new album recorded during the pandemic. On 26 JulyFive announced two new singles titled "Shangri-La" and "Making Me Fall" that would be available for pre-order on 31 Julythen released on all streaming platforms on 6 August On 2 SeptemberFive announced the album to be released around Christmas.

He had a well-publicized relationship with Atomic Kitten's Natasha Hamilton, with whom he has a daughter, but they later separated. Abz Love appeared on Celebrity Big Brother inand later starred in a documentary series called Abz on the Farm about his attempt to become a farmer in Wales. He's also been open about his struggles with drugs and alcohol after the band's split.
Sean Conlon, after leaving the band inattempted a solo career but his single was never released.

He later appeared on The Voice UK in though none of the judges turned their chairs for him. He's since rejoined various Five reunions and continues to perform with the current lineup. J Brown has largely stayed out of the public eye since the split, declining to participate in any reunions. He came third in I'm a Celebrity in He reportedly worked as a DJ and ran a dance studio, but has generally kept a low profile and avoided the entertainment industry.
