Place the cylinder on a sheet of A2 paper, and then light the cylinder from inside using a tubelight, it will project the image on to the paper. Paint away along the projected image. I am just guessing, not sure it is possible.

Last edited by bblost : 7th February at Ah yes IIRC, this paitning was gifted to JRD in the mid 90's - Tata Steel used to have a painting exhibition every year where they would invite top artists from through out the country for a week - 10 days and they would create portraits and scupltures based on the Steel and You Motif. Wow…So simple. Have you ever tried it by yourself??

If so I would like to know more about this method.
